Basic Stats
NAME: Carolina Sibley
ANIMAL FORM: Osprey, Pandion haliaetus
AGE: 23
HEIGHT: 5' 10"
WEIGHT: Average for her height, in a healthy range. She's fairly fit, so she's a little on the heavy side because of the muscle.
Physical Appearance
BODY TYPE: Slender. She has particularly long legs, like most of her family, and is
fairly close to flat chested. This doesn't bother her, really.
FACE TYPE: Heart shaped, with a wide forehead and a pointed chin. She has a pert little nose. Her face is pretty, in that soft, vulnerable sort of way, though she's not overwhelmingly attractive.
COMPLEXION: Olive! Most of her family's of various European descent, so she's white, but there's Native American in her too, so she looks....tinted. And she tans fantastically.
EYES: Normal blue!
HAIR: Naturally white, just like anyone in her family who can change. As soon as she was old enough to realize that white hair was weird, she asked her mom to dye it a more normal color, to fit in. When she got a little older, she started changing the color every few months...as well as the style, length, and cut of her hair, thereby wholly defeating the point of dyeing it to blend in.
CLOTHING STYLE: Pretty eclectic. She dresses nicely for her job, and doesn't resent it; she knows how to make herself look professional. On her own, though, she prefers more casual wear, especially long, swirly skirts, which she pairs with plain T-shirts and lots of jewelry, frequently her own.
SPEAKING STYLE: Fairly causal. She talks like your average young American woman, though a lot of reading when she was a teenager has left her with a larger-than-average vocabulary.
Background
BIOGRAPHY:
CAREER: She's a file clerk at a little law firm in her town--not quite qualified enough to be a receptionist, she runs around behind the scenes and makes sure everyone's paperwork is where it's supposed to be.
She had been a student, a double major in clinical counseling and sociology, until her accident--disappearing without a trace for a couple of months ended in her failing all her classes and losing her scholarship, and instead of trying to resolve it with the school, she just withdrew. She always meant to go back, once she got enough money...whenever that was.
She makes jewelry in her spare time and sells it through the Internet and to places around town, with nowhere near enough success to rely on it as a job.
Personality
GENERAL DEMEANOR: She's fairly easy-going and friendly; she gets along with almost everyone, and even people who are total dicks to her she manages to treat civilly. (Men mistake this for flirting. A lot.) She doesn't tend to let people close too often, despite this friendliness, so while a lot of the folks she knows consider her their friend, she counts significantly fewer of them her friends. This doesn't particularly bother her
PREJUDICES:
BEST QUALITIES:
WORST QUALITIES:
WEAKNESSES:
Abilities
HOBBIES: Flying! She doesn't let herself do it as much as she'd like, especially after the accident, but she enjoys it whenever she does.
Bird watching, as long as the bird in question is osprey--she likes watching real osprey hunt and practicing their techniques herself. She imagines if she learns to do it successfully, it'll cut down on her seafood bills.
Looking up new seafood recipes to try. Just because she likes eating fish doesn't mean she wants to eat it cooked the same way over and over.
TALENTS: Her jewelry making! While she's not really talented enough at it to every become a famous designer, if she had the time to devote to it and financial security against getting started, she could definitely be more successful selling it than she is.
